A new tattoo and a crazy combination

Finding images that stay stuck in my head is something daily for me, but having the courage to just try out the look it suggests is not something daily (sadly for me). But it’s the truth. So when I saw this exquisite look from the latest street style shots, I just thought, the girl in the photo is a genius! She transformed a simple coat into a beautiful, weird and exotic belt; giving it the chance to be more than just a coat and for me, that’s the beautiful thing about fashion, that you can be whatever you want to be, that you can use and create an imaginary world for yourself, because rules are definitely not for fashion!

And in others news (Lol) I have a new tattoo, my number 2, I know you’re asking, where’s number 1? Well, it’s on the palm of my hand on my ring finger, a little heart, that means so much to me, but I’m not gonna talk about it (a little too personal). For the first time, I have a tattoo that I haven’t yet discovered what it means to me. It’s an anchor, specifically, a Danforth anchor, I don’t know, I guess that time will tell me what it means for my life. Have a great week!

Transparent + textures

I’m not gonna lie, It’s been hard to find new looks to show you on the blog, I don’t know if it’s that work has been a little hard the past few months, or that I just realized that I don’t have enough clothes, but I guess that this is the hard part about being a fashion blogger: finding new ways to mix and match your clothes (besides the time it takes to shoot the photos, and picking, organizing and editing them for the post) but leaving aside all these morning complaints, I’m really happy to be blogging again, but most important, to be constant in something I’m doing (you know, that’s really hard for me) So I’m gonna stop to complaining and give myself a little credit for it. Have a great weekend!

My pijama t-shirt

I’m not exaggerating when I say that I don’t have any rules when it comes to fashion, for example, a while ago I bought this pijama, and I was always thinking like, this could be a beautiful t-shirt to go out and have dinner with friends, but because I had separated my pijama from my “normal clothes” I always forgot to try it on. So when by accident, my mom put this t-shirt with my “normal clothes”, I remembered the idea, and thought “why not?” You don’t have to follow all the fashion rules, If you like it enough to go outin it, why not? If it’s men clothes, or a pijama or from your grandma, what’s really the problem? You have to dress for yourself and not for others. What do you think?

Lace plus leopard

Mixing textures with more textures is one of my “rules” when I’m getting dressed (If I can call them rules) It’s more like a personal opinion, taste. So when I bought this beautiful lace shirt, I was thinking like “This piece can add beautiful twists to my wardrobe” and I wasn’t wrong, you remember THIS look? It’s more comfortable, relaxed, a little tomboy-ish, but in this look, It feels so chic, elegant, different. What do you think? Which one do you like more?

Hello short hair

Cycles, our life is about cycles, about changes, about mistakes, but even knowing that, I have to confess that I’m terrified when big changes come to my life, terrified is a beautiful word, I actually hate it! But I guess, that I don’t have absolute control about what’s going to happen in my life, so I just have to face everything and have the best attitude about it. You’re probably asking yourself, like “yeah! we also see that you cut your hair, but that’s not a big deal” and you’re right, but that’s just a piece of what’s going on in my life, because finally, I’m working at a fashion company, designing and learning about my passion.

For me it’s a big change, because it’s my second job ever and I’m extremely scared about what’s going to happen, so for the second time, I just have to breathe, think that everything is gonna be ok and that’s not ok, it’s because I have to learn about it. Oh, and my hair, yeah, It’s just hair, and I was obsessed with this cut for a long time. What do you think?

Look of the week

One of the strongest trends for next year is the Cut-out shoe, I don’t know if it’s because of that perfect union between the masculine and feminine, something like the tomboy look, but much more refined and more detailed when it comes to highlighting a woman’s body. But for me , they are the perfect shoes for 2014! Comfortable, versatile and with a unique touch to every look that we can create with them.

So jumping on this trend’s bandwagon, I found a pair of shoes at home that are literally for activities that require great physical effort, and for men! My joy was even greater when I saw they were my size, so they might not be a pair of Cut-outs per say, but from my point of view, they give of that refined tomboy vibe that I’m wearing so much lately. What do you think?
